  Some very sad stories their, I also lost a lot because I believed that soon The End would came, I could’ve had a house of my own by now.

  But this thread is about “Courage” so I’ll stick to that for now, in the move “The wizard of OZ”, near the end when the Wizard was caring out their wish’s, the Lion asked for Courage, the Wizard said something I’ll always remember, something like…”my friend, you have Courage but your getting Fear mixed up with Wisdom,….” What the wizard was telling the Lion that sometimes is Wisdom to run or hide not Fear, why stick your neck out if you know your going to get made fun of.

  “Don’t throw your pearls at swine” they tell us one hand, but then they want us to talk they use another scripture, whatever thought you want to impress on, no matter how right or wrong it is you can find a scripture to support it.

  What does the Word "Colporteur" mean?

  the wts used to call them colporteurs but now calls them pioneers.

  The WTS used to call them Colporteurs but now calls them Pioneers.

  But what does the word Colporteur mean?

  I looked it up on www.dictionary.com It say …” A peddler of devotional literature.”

  The term “Devotional Literature” doesn’t necessarily apply to religions items , it can also apply to encyclopaedias.

  I can see why they changed the Title to Pioneers.

  Maybe the Apostle Paul was right when he said “we are NOT peddlers of the good news of the Christ” but he was referring to himself and the first Christians. It seems that the followers of the WTS are “peddlers of the good news of the Watchtower” even by their own description.

  My apologies too, it seems I've started something I didn't mean to. If you look at the whole website http://www.nospank.net  ... its devoted to Anti child spanking. It mentions examples of other people from countries and regilions who overly spank their children. Those JW's were just one of them.

  I do believe that the people that did this are unique and extreme, they are not a sample of what the average JW is like. Its just something I found, it shows how psycho some can be. In the name of God some justify anything.

  I believe every single thing that the WTS taught me except the parts which are unique to them, there are other Christian religions which also are non-Trinitarians. I do not believe in the trinity and I don’t know how any religion ever can, but that’s just my view and I’m staying that way. Their are other religions that teach about God’s kingdom on earth for a 1000 years.

  The things that are unique to the WTS are…

  Kingdom established in 1914 in heaven.

  • No blood
  • Disfellowshipping
  • And the Faithful and discreet slave class.

  And more…

  The bible says “no one will die for a righteous man, maybe for a good man someone dares to die.”… so I would have to say NO I wouldn’t.

  If you are already free from the WTS then this book will seal it.

  I don’t know how anyone could get baptized AFTER reading this book unless it’s for family reasons, they obviously know its not the truth and just doing it to keep others happy.

  I've read both Ray's books, its the best thing I've ever done. It really opened my eyes.

  many years ago i started talking to the jewish community.

  and a part of my heritage, i have jewish blood flowing through me, also.

  but that's not importanbt at the moment..what is, is that do the jews believe as a christian?....
